warrandyte is a suburb of Melbourne the warrandyte river is a nice place to swim on a hot summer day. it was a very quiet area until they had a official site of a gold mine wich happened in 1851 Andersons Creek flows through the heart of the Gold Memorial visitor site and is a popular location for prospecting, bushwalking and exploring the gold heritage of Warrandyte. Its local government area is the City of Manningham. its population is 5,502
at warrendyte there are all different types of animal it just so happens this platypus is one of them but it is rare to see one.
