The Murray River is a river in south-eastern Australia is Australia's longest river it is 2,508 Km extent


The Murray River is also an ancient river it is about 130 million years old, and it is the 3 longest river



Charles Sturt (born April 28, 1795 and died at June 16 1869) Charles Sturt is considered one of the greatest explorations in Australian history.


The Murray River starts in the Snowy Mountains and winds through New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia ending at the Murray mouth near Goolwa where it flows out to the sea.


Though the Murray River is really dangerous to swim in with a range of hazards below the water, like red bellied black snakes and copperheads and notorious pythons, With fresh water crocodiles



The worlds largest canoe race is held each year on the Murray


Murray Cod can easily grow up to 1.8m in size
