The Loch Ness

The Loch Ness is a giant fresh water lake thing Located in the Scottish Highlands.

The loch ness is very long and thin and has a maximum depth of 226.9 meters deep.

It is also the largest body of fresh water in great Britain.

Scotland has some freezing winters, but the Depth of the water prevents the loch ness from freezing over. The Top water will reach freezing point, then will sink and be replaced by warmer water from the bottom. The loch can sometimes even be seen steaming.
