DELTAS (not the virus)
Updated: Mar 3, 2022
A delta is a triangular "island" that forms at the point where a river joins an ocean, lake, another river, or a different body of water.
The water coming from the river piles dirt, sand, and other materials into triangular shapes at the end of the river as it slows down. This makes the river look like it splits into many river before reaching it destination.
The deltas are pretty cool and can be found in many costal places around the world.
