Coastal headlands
A headland is a bit of land that pokes out into the sea, it is usually high and usually has a sheer drop. Headlands Are made by the geomorphic processes of erosion and weathering, a cliff is eroded away by the weather and the waves but some bits of resistant rock are left, making a sticky outie bit. The bit between the headlands are called bays.
