Part of the Amazon River




The Amazon River is a River that runs through Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Guyana. It is home a massive amount of variety of animals but animal numbers are rapidly dropping as tree are getting chopped down and the water is get more and more pollution due to increasing population and mining.

The Amazon River need protecting as more and more tree, people and mining places are coming. We can protect the river by simply decreasing the things we're increasing therefore more animals and trees will come back to live and help our ecosystem.

The Amazon is a massive river coming in at a whopping 6,400 km!! and that is just the main stream. The Amazon river has lots of out strips around 90 to be exact. This just shows if the amazon river has that many and animals are in danger from trees being cut down and the water being polluted so it must stop right now.

Since humans have been chopping down trees apparently 46% of trees have been cut down that is 46% too much. There are now 2.5 million animals in the amazon rainforest and specialist reckon 16 species of animals will be lost by 2050 due to deforestation and murky polluted water.
